Double digit birthday's are really special. Of course there's plenty to be said for the carnival's, petting zoo's and back yard bounce houses but the "old fashioned" birthday parties are making a come back. Utilize a great friend with a Costco membership where you can purchase a giant pizza with everything or nothing on it for 9.99. I promise you would need 3 - TOPS! Have this wonderful friend show up with a special delivery (wrapping pizzas with a giant bow may be "cheesy" but who cares)!

Of course the day after party soda's were necessary, but the girls didn't REALLY NEED bread sticks did they? My kids LOVE "roasting" pillsbury dough biscuits over a fire during camping. Roll them in cinnamon sugar and butter and it's the greatest dessert ever! In fact I think I have the cheapskate theme for the next birthday party! Camp out in the back yard. Marshmellows, hershey bars and graham crackers. All I need to buy is a bunch of dollar store flashlights and balloons. Fun for all. Target practice with bb guns would be better than pin the tail on the donkey right?
